So You've Got 1 Week 'Till You're Abroad. (updated!)

T-Minus seven days until I’m on that plane to Manchester, UK. I am so excited I cannot contain myself. I started packing today and let's just say it looks like a bomb exploded in my room. I’m already having a heart attack because I know I can’t bring everything I own. I've checked the weather over there & the temperature’s already Autumn-ish and rainy. Which means that’s a little easier seeing as I don’t have to pack a lot of summer things. They'll be nothing but shopping, laundry, more folding, military rolling, and stuffing for the next few days.

Some may say overkill, but I say I'll be more than prepared. My mom argued I could buy all the toiletries there and pack lighter. I scoffed and pulled out my second suitcase. The bags, shoes, and accessories merely fit into one. In the end, it will more than likely three bags; two suitcases and one book bag. I will probably have to wear the same three outfits for the next week 😂 But! better everything is clean and packed away.

In addition to clothes and toiletries, you should also be mindful of your money and documentation. Make sure you make an airport/customs checklist in additon to a packing list. Subscribe to AiW and get both lists emailed as PDF files.
