I'm a 25-year-old native New Yorker from Nassau County, Long Island. I'm  always in search of good conversation, a good book, good eats, or a good cocktail.

 

I'm a non-believer in store-bought baked goods or re-reading something a million times. I adore animals, I am a mom, a lover of languages & words, a thrill-seeking, equal rights spewing, fan of tan lines, saltwater and sunshine. I'm broke with expensive taste, an all-night dancer, nature and flower obsessed, unofficial therapist for friends, tree hugger, admirer of the arts, city hopper, subway and couch surfer with two green thumbs who thinks great lipstick, a fresh mani/pedi, and a ticket out of town for a bit can fix anything.

 

Enrolling in higher education allowed me the opportunity to complete a student exchange program.  I attended Business school at Manchester Met & my life was forever changed.  Alex in Wanderlust is a collection and expression of my love for the people, places, cuisines, art, and things learned while traveling Stateside and abroad.  Alex in Wanderlust is intended to inform on traveling do's & don'ts while sharing my personal experiences.
