Don't Mess Around w/ Financial Aid

OK, OK. I’ve officially learned my lesson: Don’t mess with FASFA, TAP, or the Financial Aid Office at your school. Deadlines are deadlines for a reason. I get it!
There shouldn’t be any, ANY reason at all for me to not simply have to accept loans and grants from the state and then recieve left over funds after dispersement. I have been verified and re-verified over the past couple of months because of this Study Abroad trip. I filled out all the paperwork, but since my FASFA was a few weeks late, the money is a few weeks late. Not only that, my dispursement is about $500 under what I was expecting. My head hasn’t stopped spinning and won’t stop until my refund is direct deposited into my account.

I am so nervous about being broke in Manchester. It's bad enough being broke at home! I don’t like asking for what I have not earned, so I don't want to make anyone in my family fit this bill. My mom thinks it'll work itself out. I’ll be living under a bridge eating canned fish until the money trickles down to me. Great. 🙄
Needless to say, I’m not happy.
